Job description
- Supporting studies and design efforts, drafting reports and presentations.
- Providing expertise on urban planning issues related to BRT implementation (e.g., land use, adherence to spatial regulations)
- Providing expertise on urban realm improvements, including inclusive street design, street activation, tactical urbanism, etc.
- Identifying planning strategies and assessing scenarios for urban revitalization and transit-oriented development.
- Meeting with internal and external stakeholders to build consensus and obtain project approvals.
- Documenting policy and regulatory changes that may be warranted.
- Support and coordinate with counterparts to provide GIS-based data analysis and developing collateral materials that illustrate data in a user-friendly manner.
- Presenting information to stakeholders regarding the outcomes and recommendations.
- Working independently as well as part of a multi-discipline team to advance project goals and objectives.
- Preparing proposals, developing work plans, and coordinating planning efforts to support project management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Profile
- Master's degree in urban planning, urban design, spatial design with 10 years' experience, with a minimum specific experience of 5 years in transportation planning in Indonesia.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Indonesian and English
- Knowledge of urban design and tactical urbanism applied to transport projects.
- Aptitude with computer software programs, such as AutoCAD, 3D rendering, Adobe Illustrator, GIS.
- Capable of managing multiple, high-priority assignments.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships at various levels and to resolve problems.
- Ability to provide effective and efficient project management with a proven ability to meet established deadlines.
