Job description

  • Qualifications
    • On average a minimum of 8-12 years’ experience in the relevant field. Qualified as Graduate/Chartered Engineer.
    • Have a proven record as a Project Engineer on a number of projects.   
  •  Project Role 
    • Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment on a national basis & global basis
    • The ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines, exercise a high degree of professionalism in      interactions with all levels of internal and external clients is required
    • Must be detail oriented, have strong project management skills, and be able to coordinate many  record keeping activities at once
  • Business Development 
    • Ability to develop relationships with Directors, Project Managers and Clients.
    • Develop network of contacts.
    • Be ambassadors for the Company. 
  • Company Role 
    •       Demonstrate ability to lead and take responsibility for projects.
    •       Prepare initial schemes and produce design philosophy on projects
    • ·     Ability to manage team of talented young engineers and BIM technicians.
    • Ability to manage the design and construction stages of a project.
    • Role will normally be as project engineer on projects of various sizes. On major/more complex projects could take the role of a design engineer.
    • Coordinating your work with other members of the project team.
    • Mentoring and assisting graduates and less experienced engineers
    • Be responsible for preparing cost plans and delivering work to a fee agreed with a project manager.
    • Core responsibilities for the task include: -
    • Task delivery to agreed deadline and fee.
    • Task profitability.
    •  Task quality.
    •  Co-ordination with client/ architect/ service engineer etc
    • Responsible for development and production of drawings/ calculations/ specification/ reports etc.


  • Engineering Function
    • Agree design philosophy/design fundamentals.
    • Review and comment on deliverables produced by Engineers & Technicians at key stages through a project.
    • Demonstrates all round technical competence.
    • Have knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment.
    • Have knowledge of analytical concepts.
    • Should be responsible for Quality Management (QA) for their team.
    • Have knowledge of our delivery in CAD standards and 3D working. 
  • HSEQ Responsibilities
    • Understand, implement and follow WME HSEQ policies.
    • Implement and coordinate HSEQ procedures in your workplace.
    • Report any HSEQ incidents immediately to WME HSEQ Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
    • Abide Client/Contractor HSEQ requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
