Job description

Cost Control

  • Serves as the client’s main contact for providing cost management services
  • Manages, revises, and maintains status of the detailed project cost estimate/forecast to include all phases of project execution from design/engineering, material/equipment procurement and deliveries, construction contracts through start-up activities to closeout
  • Tracks and analyzes the project costs including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, and forecasts. Analysis includes forecast to budget and estimate, forecast to actuals, and contingency analysis
  • Assists in analyzing project control requirements as part of the bid review process to insure all cost control requirements are incorporated into individual contracts and purchase orders
  • Interacts with other project groups in relation to cost codes, purchase order commitments, change orders and sales tax issues as required and to ensure all accounting and regulatory compliance issues or guidelines are implemented
  • Assists in creating detailed project budgets from estimates and in the development of cash flow projections
  • Manages key project indicators and project reports
  • Conduct desk-top audit checks on 3rd party suppliers invoices and estimates; ensure they are contractually compliant and are generating value for money (day rates, schedule of rates, other)
  • Apply technical knowledge in analysing data, reporting and creating solutions
  • Review and report on-going performance of the Supplier against contractual obligations
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with client, suppliers and internal teams of the client

Bid Control

  • Develop due diligence of cost estimates for transportation engineering bids
  • Check the detailed cost breakdowns of bid proposals, ensuring competitiveness and profitability

Project Control

  • Develop project budgets in collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders
  • Monitor project expenditures and identify cost variances
  • Prepare Financial Review reports to management
  • Update the financial tools with accurate figures

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance of engineering discipline
  • Provent technical experiencing n cost controlling
  • Experience in large infrastructure and/or building works (transportation, energy etc)
  • Utilize suite of Microsoft Office applications and digital platforms at an intermediate level to review data, identify themes and prepare representative graphs
  • Analytical with exceptional numerical skills
  • Data analysis and trending skills – analysing Excel style data sets to identify trends
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail (create written/edit documents and run spread sheets)
  • Flexible to work with the tools of Total
  • Motivated to continuously develop technical skills and knowledge
  • Thai and English language preferred
