The Talent Acquisition Specialist (junior/senior) will be responsible for delivering talent acquisition services to the Egis Asia Pacific businesses. The Talent specialist will support permanent hiring into the Egis business, subsidiaries and JV’s alongside project sourcing and provision of contractor/freelance consultants for regional activity.

Job description

  • ­Receiving recruitment needs from Talent Acquisition Manager and other business stakeholders. Either country managers (for in-house staff), Domain BL Manager or Bid managers (for experts to be staffed on proposals).
  • ­Arrange kick-off meetings with your hiring managers or proposal managers to understand the requirements you will be sourcing.
  • ­Organize and conduct sourcing for all job requirements (proposals, tender submissions and projects) including  ‘passive’ candidates by optimizing all available tools (external hiring platforms, company careers website, social Business Unit APAC Asia talent base).
  • ­In case of permanent hire, managing and owning end-to-end recruitment process.
  • ­Coordinate technical interviews and assessments and ensure that interviewers are familiar with the candidate’s profile and the required competencies per positions (basic, non-negotiable and special requirements). 
  • ­In case of project contract/freelance hiring, to be proactive in sourcing expert profiles within suitable timeframes.
  • ­Draft pre-conditional offer, discuss conditions and finalize negotiations with candidates.
  • ­Taking correct actions to maintain positive candidate experience in successful hiring cases and feedback to non-successful parties.
  • ­Communicate pro-actively with hiring managers on recruitment progress.
  • ­To become Egis APAC specialist and ‘go-to person’ in one or more Business Lines hiring (rail, aviation, buildings, structures, energy etc) for our internal managers and external specialists in the region. Understanding our business requirements and the skills of prospective candidates. With ability to communicate upstream and downstream on related topics.
  • ­Update on weekly basis hiring status through Egis hiring trackers and update mechanisms.
  • ­Work with local HR Teams at handover points for local documentation and onboarding of new hires.
  • ­Other tasks related to talent acquisition and HR as required.

 

Profile

 

  • Degree in relevant HR, administrative or engineering subject, or proven industry background in talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • 5+ years experience (flexible on ability)
  • Strongly proficient in MS Office, Applicant Tracking System, online tools and job boards.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Competent in conducting behavioural interviews and candidate assessments.
  • Experience of project recruitment either in-house or within a recruitment agency.
  • Knowledge of sectors such as rail, aviation, buildings, utilities, oil & gas, renewables would be beneficial.
  • Experience in recruiting regionally in any of of following countries Mainland China, Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Australia New Zealand would be a plus.
  • Previous success in taking a pro-active headhunting approach to recruitment mandates.
  • Strong organization, collaboration and networking capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in an active and challenging environment.
