In the UK, we are delivering some of the most iconic projects which help connect people, protect our environment and meet emission reduction targets. We work in the transport and energy sectors, providing consultancy, engineering and operations services for clients such as major airports, governments, regulators, cities and rail and road operators.
Programme commercial manager to ensure the successful transition of newly awarded Welding Services frameworks. We are looking for someone who has a track record of mobilising large and complex frameworks across multiple regions. The successful mobilisation will be achieved through working closely with the sourcing and supplier management teams within Route Services and the regional mobilisation leads to design and execute a comprehensive mobilisation plan in order for services to be delivered seamlessly. You will lead the mobilisation phase, seamlessly handing over the project to the lead in each region, the RS central post contract support team and supporting the local teams during the transition period through to steady state. The key objective of this role is to ensure a smooth mobilisation of contracts, good relations with the customers and ensuring all actions are completed and fully handed over to the local regional teams.
Key role requirements:
• To prepare the mobilisation and de-mobilisation plans, including developing the RACI to delineate all of the post contract activity between central and regional teams.
• To prepare a comprehensive contract management plan and roll out to the regional teams
• To lead the mobilisation of the new framework in line with the requirements of the framework scope and the mobilisation plan
• To support the demobilisation of the existing framework
• To lead discussions with all of the key stakeholders and their customers to brief them on the key aspects of the new framework
• To provide regular updates on the mobilisation status
• To provide support in setting up the new requirements on the COOM system
• Managing mobilisation risks
Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status and/or educated to degree level.
• Varied experience of large and complex construction projects.
• Relevant successful experience of provision of QS services in a large project environment.
• Practive stakeholder management
• Understanding of project management, planning risk, and investment processes
• Knowledge of railway and construction industry conditions of contract.
