Job description

The role will include:


·       drafting, amending and checking contracts;

·       negotiating contract provisions and managing risks;

·       liaising with country/domain bid managers and unit managers;

·       legal research;

·       assisting the Ethics Correspondent function in South East Asia;

·       assisting the Quality and Assurance support in South East Asia

·       file management and corporate administrative tasks; and

·       providing ad-hoc support to Egis Asia Pacific General Counsel and South East Asia business



To be successful in this role Egis Asia Pacific would like to hear from candidates with the following:

Previous legal or similar construction and engineering law experience at a law firm and/or large corporation ideally within architectural, construction and/or engineering is preferred.

Self-motivated candidate who possesses the ability to understand and anticipate legal department needs, work under pressure, and handle highly confidential information with utmost discretion.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with various departments and levels within the South east Asia.

·       Fluency in spoken and written English and an Asian language

·       Immediate availability is preferred.


A candidate with less than 5 years’ experience may be considered for the Assistant Legal Manager role.
