Job description

To help accelerate our EDI agenda  we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead to showcase what this should look like in the UK. 

 

The Role will involve:  

  • Develop, lead and embed our EDI programme of activities. Produce a roadmap for success with key milestones and metrics within a focused vision for the UK.  
  • Provide EDI expertise to the business lines and help inform contracts and tenders.  
  • Build strong relationships and partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Create effective documents, procedures and align existing processes with our EDI vision.  
  • Empower colleagues to own and lead the strategy across the business, building up an impactful network of passionate leaders.  
  • Collaborate closely with Communications, Marketing and HR to solidly our vision and create a thoughtful and authentic narrative.  
  • Continually reviewing the changing landscape from both the legal and social agendas. 
     

The role will be a London based position working closely with both the HR and ESG teams who are working collectively on the ESG agenda. Hybrid working is possible for this role, with occasional travel around the UK as required.   

Profile

Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Previous experience in working in EDI focused roles 
  • Demonstratable knowledge of key focus areas both for now and the future 
  • Proven track record of being able to influence key stakeholders 
  • Evidence of leading and delivering effective EDI programmes 
  • Ability to drive through a campaign while bringing along everyone on the journey 
  • Organisational and written skills required. Proven ability to plan, track, prioritize and communicate effectively 
  • Demonstrate resilience and overcoming setbacks, using all feedback as productive and an improvement opportunity 
     

Personal Characteristics: 

  • Great interest for EDI, seeking to push forward the agenda for a growing business 
  • Ability to tackle complex issues while building up meaningful relationships 
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively to ensure core tasks are delivered on time and within budget 
  • Effective team player able to build meaningful relationships and work collaboratively  
  • Results-orientated
