Job description
Job Scope:
- Together with the Structural Engineer, be responsible in all the structural design works of the Project, such as flood control structures, bank protection structures, drainage system, locks and other river improvment works, taking into consideration navigability of the channel and the different conditions of flow and sediment transport
- Review the existing data and study reports and other relevant documents for consistency and accuracy among which the proposed river structures designed in the F/S
- Assist the conduct of inspection, investigation and/or assessment of the study area to determine the revailing condition of the river, exiting flood control structures, drainage system and other river improvement works
- Consolidate and prepare the Final Structural Design Report of the project
- Assist in preparation of the program of work
Requirements:
- Licensed Civil Enginner with at least 10 years of experience as a hydraulic engineer
- At least 5 years in large open channel design in relations with navigation, water supply, irrigation and hydropower
