Description de la mission

The Finance Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer of the Business Line Road Users Services:

1. Leads the global reporting of Easytrip HGV business line, ensuring the consistency with the head-office Consolidation tools and rules:

  • Analysis of financial performance
  • Cash forecast, Operational KPIs
  • set-up of management accounts and consolidated accounts, budgets and forecasts, 5-year mid-term plan

2. Implements a cost control approach in a purpose of efficiency in all Easytrip group

  • Supports the implementation of relevant reporting templates compatible with the ERP
  • Adjusts the operational processes of the companies
  • Keeps up to date internal procedures, ensuring appropriate controls are in place and adhered to, especially the completeness and accuracy of payables and receivables, billings, cash and bank reconciliation

3. In co-operation with the CFO, sets up a new organization for the finance, risk and accounting processes in Easytrip

4. Manages multisite teams in cost control and accounting

  • Detects additional recruitment and training needs
  • Conducts staff annual appraisal and performance incentives

5. Supervises the corporate obligations of the Italian companies (board minutes, general meetings, consortium topics, ...) and any specific issue (tax audit, bank requests,…)

6. Monitors the tax and the compliance of Easytrip activities (VAT, Transfer pricing, …)

7. Actively participates in the IT tools continuous improvement (environment of ERP Accounting System SAGE X3).

8. Interacts with CFO and conducts, performs and submits status reports and process improvement, recommendations and alerts.

9. Under the responsibility of the CFO, liaises with external relationships: auditors, bankers, stakeholders, suppliers, etc.


The position’s holder is responsible towards compliance with the three Codes of Ethics, Integrity and Human Resources Management Code, internal rules, all local regulations and Health & Safety rules that apply in for the BU MENS activities.


1. Accounting degree (Master) and/or Business School diploma

2. 15 years’ experience in accounting and financial control within a major auditing firm or in an international company. Knowledge of Services activities (in Transports and logistics) would be a plus.

3. Strong financial knowledge, accounting and tax skills with excellent attention to details

4. Ability to operate within a fast paced environment

5. Shows proven management skills :

  • Has a good ability to manage a team and obtain the best from a team,
  • Is able to implement policies, operational processes and to lead a performing organization
  • Shows ability to analyse and develop performance management, to implement corrective actions and to improve effectiveness of operations.

6. Ability to identify problems and develop potential solutions

7. Strong initiative, motivation and ability to plan and prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines

8. Strong communication skills

9. Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written). Dutch would be a plus.

10. Excellent MS office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint,…) skills.

11. Competent in Financial ERP applications maybe a plus.
