Job description

  • Reports to Lead Super Intendans (SPDT), assists SPDT Company Representative, works with HSE Supervisor in coordination with Quality Control Geotechnical/Geology
  • Provides full supervision, site inspection, quality control supervision, HSE supervision, and field material control of construction activities to ensure compliance with the construction contracts requirements, specifications, and detailed engineering study
  • Performs active management, coordination, monitoring, and supervision of the construction process to carry out activities established in the integrated time schedule
  • Performs management and coordination of geospatial information to enable reporting and mapping of the status of construction and associated activities from the Central GIS
  • Prepares progress reports highlighting main concerns with regards to work, productivity that may impact HSE performance, quality, schedule, or price

 

Scope of activities

Scope of construction activities includes central processing facilities, well platforms, roads, bridges, airstrip, buildings, and offloading facilities.

Profile

 

  • A degree qualified engineer (Bachelor or Master degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Geology)
  • A minimum of 10 years' experiences in Geotechnical Engineering or Geological Engineering for the above scope of activities in the oil and gas industries, preferably in the Pacific or small island states
  • Should be ready to be based on site in PNG with a roster of 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off
  • Good communication in English both verbal and written
