Instrumental to reaching these objectives is the provision of robust and timely financial information. A new Shared Service Centre (SSC) model is being implemented to facilitate this. 


Job description

The SSC will operate as a centre for excellence, providing specialist support across business lines in the Payment and Payroll Solutions and Controlling and Compliance spaces. 

 

As the Payroll Solutions Specialist, you will have key involvement across the span of core services provided, from expenses and payroll processing. Offering variety and the opportunity to broaden skill sets as the company grows and takes on more payrolls.

 

This will be a customer-facing role with key contacts across the Business Lines, so a strong and positive relationship is essential. 

 

You will have the ability to work as part of a team, offering help and support to the finance functions in the Business Lines across the UK.

 

This is a varied position, offering excellent exposure to the wider Egis Group and finance teams, and the opportunity to be part of an exciting journey for Egis in the UK.

 

This role can be based in any of our UK offices, with weekly travel to London for at least two days a week. We operate a hybrid work model, with 50% of your time being office-based.  

Profile

The successful applicant will have the following:

 

  • In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end payroll process, including submissions and reporting to HMRC.

  • Extensive experience in expenses processing and auditing, specifically pension and reconciliation

  • Collaborative nature, ability to work across multiple stakeholders.

  • Sage 50 knowledge essential

  • Multiple – Payrolls working to tight deadlines.

  • A continuous process improvement mindset is needed with system developments planned in the coming months.

  • High-level MS Excel skills 

  • An agile and flexible attitude, with a deadline-orientated mindset
