Job description

Right now we are looking for recruits with a range of expertise and experience and a keen interest in aviation to help us meet our growing order book. You might be studying a numerate  subject, preferably around aviation or a related subject. You will be really keen to learn more about the aviation related subjects, such as sustainability and air traffic management.

Our clients include airports, ANSPs, governments and regulators, so the work you do will be varied. At times you will be working on highly analytical projects requiring data analysis capabilities and at other times you’ll be developing report writing and presentation skills.

The consultancy environment can be very fast-paced with opportunities emerging at very short notice that will require a flexible, agile approach to delivering excellence in consultancy services and meeting or exceeding client requirements. We have a flat collegiate structure and work in small project teams integrated and multi-skilled teams established on a project basis, under the guidance of our senior staff.

Our philosophy is to encourage you to manage your own career and time – you’ll have far more autonomy than our competitors offer. We work in partnership with our clients and partners, either in our offices or on client premises, and our work often has a real and immediate impact for our clients. This is something which our staff find very rewarding and, in return, we ask that you deliver amazing work and ensure that our clients keep coming back to us (currently 80% of our work is repeat business!)

We work hard but we understand the benefits to our staff, our clients and ourselves that a healthy work-life balance brings. We provide a professional, friendly and supportive working environment, supported by our technology, to enable flexible working whether in the office, from home or on the move. In addition to valuing family life, we have an active in-house social programme catering for a range of interests.

Benefits/Salary Details:

  • Competitive salary
  • Pension contribution of 5% of your salary
  • Life insurance
  • Private healthcare for you and your family
  • Health cash plan
  • 26 days holiday plus
  • UK bank holidays
  • Tailored career path with structured training
  • Mentoring from senior staff
  • Buddy system to ease your transition from university

Application Instructions:

Please apply for this role on our careers portal using the link above. As part of your application, please include a cover letter setting out your interest in working within the aviation industry as a management consultant and why you are suitable for the role.

Candidates must be expecting a 2:1 or above in a numerate subject.

Most importantly you must thrive on problem solving and the application of your excellent critical thinking skills. Your written and verbal presentation skills must be of a high standard and you must enjoy the prospect of client engagement whether in workshops, training sessions, one-to-one meetings or simply networking over coffee.

We crunch a lot of data, write a lot of reports, share our learning and knowledge with each other in small project teams, and get to know our clients well.
