Job description

Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct research and analysis of ESG trends, regulations, and standards, and make management recommendations to Egis Asia Leadership team.
  • Lead the carbon footprint initiatives includes – Data collection, completing missing data for all countries in Asia , filling data gaps with extrapolations, ratios specific to the countries, compiling and organizing documentation and completing the surveys for group submission.
  • Support projects for carbon management.  Facilitate / contribute to the deployment of EgisCarbon success manager network
  • Effectively contribute to the Eco design
  • Quarterly reporting of CSR activities
  • Contribution to  ESG screening in in M&A process
  • Ensure Corporate ESG policies are correctly implemented and known.
  • Monitor and report on key sustainability performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ESG initiatives are integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and external partners on sustainability- related matters.
  • Identify and assess ESG-related risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate sustainability-related training and education programs for employees.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental studies, or related field. Post graduate will be preferred.
  • Approximately 5 years of professional experience in sustainability and decarbonization consulting.
  • Must have broad technical knowledge related to science-based emissions pathways and carbon emissions data.
  • Demonstrable experience in corporate carbon reporting, analysis, and interpretation of datasets.
  • Experiences in MNC environment working across multi business operation and multi-country operation will be a plus;
  • Knowledge of ESG issues and trends, and familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards (e.g. GRI, SASB, SBTi, TCFD, TNFD)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Strong project management skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Outstanding oral communication, written and presentation skills; and
  • Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills
