Business Line specific context

The MENS’ BU (Project structuring, Operation and New Services) is one of the world leaders in the financial project structuring of PPP projects, as well as in the operation of infrastructures and services. In the road sector, Egis operates and maintains 44 roads and highways, including civil structures such as bridges, viaducts and tunnels. Through 28 operating companies, Egis employs more than 9,300 people in more than 20 countries, i.e. nearly 4,400 km.

In the airport sector, our BU operates, maintains and develops a network of 17 airports around the world, handling more than 30 million passengers and 330,000 tons of freight per year.

The MENS’ BU also offers a wide range of services for its customers such as electronic toll collection, interoperability and on-street parking management.

This role will be working for Connect Plus Services, a Joint Venture created to manage the Operations and Maintenance of the M25, one of our flagship projects and one of the business motorways in Europe!

Job description

The Technical Administrator  shall work within the Connect Plus Services Technology Services Team maintaining & improving M25 Technology assets.

This role includes the collecting of all maintenance and fault/failure rectification information and data to compile the monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Support the Team in regards procurement / timesheet / expenses / calibration / training / NHSS portfolios / PPE / Equipment ordering.

This position can be based out of our Dartford, Leatherhead or South Mimms offices.


  • Provide a customer focused/service/commercial approach to work.
  • General administration tasks – Minute taking, filing of records etc.
  • Manages the engineer’s expenses.
  • Monitors the timesheet process through the “Simply” system.
  • Records and Manages the overtime undertaken by the Field based staff.
  • Process material/stock orders in conjunction with the Supply Chain Procurement Team.
  • Assists with the correlation of the monthly progress report.
  • Provides holiday and sick cover for the Service Coordinator.
  • Tracks and produces a performance dashboard with graphs of contract performance.
  • Deals with all stakeholder communication – enquires/complaints.
  • Passes all 3rd party information to the ASC.
  • Ensures faults that are reported via all 3rd Parties or discovered during maintenance are correctly recorded in Service Now.
  • Monitors calibration records.
  • Monitors National Highways Sector Scheme 8 engineer portfolios.
  • Ensure PPE, equipment and tools are available for issue.
  • Coordinate and mange a monthly timetable to ensure reports and information are collated and delivered accurately on time.
  • Maintenance of the electronic and manual filing system.
  • Assist with maintaining PDR & Training records.
  • Arranging meetings, rooms and refreshments.
  • Collate and distribute information for Presentations.
  • Any Ad Hoc duties as and when required.


Skills and experience

  • IT literate, conversant with database applications, word and excel.
  • A technical bias would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in supporting a Field Based Team would be advantageous but not essential
  • .Must be a good communicator both verbal and written and confident when liaising with the team, third parties and stakeholders.
  • Approachable & helpful.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • A requirement to assist with other support roles in the event of staff holiday and sickness.
