Context:

Placed on a full-time basis by the Zanzibar Airport Authority (ZAA) for the duration of the contract, the expert relies on support services from Egis and works under the supervision of the EGIS technical referent in the maintenance and upkeep of airport infrastructure and facilities. He assists the General Manager of ZAA in establishing investment plans, maintenance and Major Maintenance and Renewal (GER) programs and in drafting technical specifications.

Mission :

As a Technical and Maintenance referent within the airport organization, he defines the maintenance policy, in connection with the company policy and regulations. The expert develops and validates action plans. he prepares consultation files, analysis of offers and selection of companies. Coordinates complex projects and activities. he monitors compliance with technical and financial commitments, and the application of safety, security and environmental rules. He negotiates with internal and external customers for the implementation of maintenance work. The expert communicates internally on the progress of maintenance operations. He anticipates the technical means necessary for the activity.

* Degree in  Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics

*Proven experience of at least 3 years in the management of technical infrastructures and maintenance teams. Specialization or familiarization with the airport environment and infrastructure would be an advantage.

Mastering of the English language both written and oral is required, a good level of French (written and spoken) would be appreciated.
