With a commitment to innovation and safety, we work on various high-profile urban rail and metro projects globally. We are looking for a seasoned Railway Signaling Engineer with over 10 years of experience, focusing on CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) and ETCS (European Train Control System) technologies, to join our dynamic team.

Job description

  • Lead and manage signaling engineering activities for urban railway and metro projects, with a focus on CBTC and ETCS systems.
  • Oversee design, installation, testing, and commissioning of railway signaling systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, design engineers, and clients, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on the integration of CBTC and ETCS technologies in urban environments.
  • Perform risk assessments, safety analysis, and troubleshooting of signaling systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and safety reports.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in railway signaling technology and implement best practices in ongoing projects
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, addressing any engineering challenges or client concerns proactively.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes within the company.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in railway Signaling, specializing in both CBTC and ETCS technologies
  • Proven track record of working on urban railway or metro projects, preferably in an engineering or technical leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of signaling principles, standards, and safety regulations related to CBTC and ETCS.
  • Familiarity with local and international railway signaling standards and best practices.
  • Project management certification or relevant training is a plus.
  • Experience in the full project lifecycle, from conceptual design to commissioning and handover.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced urban rail environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English and Mandarin.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary, multicultural environment.
  • Licensed Professional  Engineer (PE) in Taiwan.
