Job title

Senior System Assurance Engineer

Job description

Technical:

  • Prepare System Assurance (RAMS) deliverables including plan and report, e.g. System Assurance Plan, Safety Plan, RAM Plan, PHA report, Safety case, Hazard log, etc.
  • Perform technical RAMS analysis, e.g. Hazard analysis (PHA,SSHA,IHA,OSHA), RAM analysis and prediction (Availability, MTBF, MTTR), FMECA, SIL determination, Safety and Reliability Risk Assessment, etc in accordance with EN50126/EN50128/EN50129.
  • Review the documentation issued by supplier and provide technical expertise in RAMS perspective throughout the project lifecycle.

Management:

  • Deliver and manage supplier to deliver the RAMS documentation and output on time, within scope, and in accordance with international standards as planned throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with relevant parties e.g. project team, engineering team, operations and maintenance teams, supplier, consortium and user to facilitate communication and collaboration throughout the process.

Documentation:

  • Provide the comprehensive documentation related to System Assurance processes, technical specifications, and project timelines. Ensure that all relevant documentation is up-to-date and accessible to stakeholders.

Training and Support:

  • Maintain the training to develop the technical skill.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, Rail transportation), or a related field.
  • 8 years’ experience in railway systems or engineering field and has 3 years’ experience in System Assurance (RAMS), System Safety or related field.
  • Experience in of railway systems, technologies, and industry standards.
  • Experience of System Assurance Program for railway or transportation systems.
  • Familiar with Railway System Assurance and RAMS process in accordance with EN 50126/ EN 50128/EN 50129, and Common Safety Method (CSM) and/or equivalent standards.
  • Familiar with RBD and FTA modelling tools
  • Familiar with qualitative and quantitative strategy.
  • Ability to work in an international context – Good level of English (speaking & writing)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Team-oriented and client-oriented with clear, positive and accountable attitude.
  • Flexibility to handle tight deadlines, manage priorities, and travel.
