Job description

  •  Analyze specifications and customer needs.
  • Provide opinions and recommendations.
  • Participate in technical choices and consultations, draft calls for tenders and notes, examine and analyze offers, etc.
  • Control and validate technical documents, studies, design, and formalise opinions.  
  • Validate control plans and monitor manufacturing, factory testing, and shipping.
  • Participate in the reception, testing, and commissioning of on-site equipment.
  • Carry out diagnostics of existing equipment and write expert reports.
  • Write offers and methodologies.
  • Estimate the costs of missions in the offer phase. 
  • Respect, follow and update the budgets in progress.
  • Provide internal and external training on depot and maintenance of rolling stock.
  • Feasibility studies for a rolling stock maintenance facility and depot workshop.
    Sizing and design of buildings, facilities, and maintenance equipment.
  • Functional definition of track and stabling area, estimation of train stabling capacities.
  • Drafting functional and technical specifications, preparation of tender documents, examination, and analysis of tenders.
  • Participation in the testing of industrial equipment in the factory and on-site, inspections of construction, and acceptance of installations and maintenance equipment.
  • Calculation of estimated investment costs, considering the environmental impact.
  • Advice on modification, modernization, and renovation of workshops and infrastructures. (MOE)
  • Location of sites according to maintenance levels and transport plans.
  • Participation in drafting the technical part of the offers and developing the methodology.
  • Compliance of the works to local standards and customer requirements.
  • Develop the Maintenance service requirements.
  • To ensure the contractors properly integrate Maintenance requirements.
     

Profile

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in operations and/or maintenance in the metro/rail industry with similar management experience
  • Fluency in English and preferably Thai
  • Familiar with Thailand market
  • Knowledge of rollingstock maintenance equipment.
  • Previous experience in managing FAT and FAIs of depot equipment.
  • Previous experience in training the operation of depot equipment.
  • Experiences in the installation of Depot equipment.
  • Experience in making documents in Word and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and or Visio.
  • Willing to travel and work partly in other Asian countries.
