Job description

The Senior Contracts Manager will be deployed into a high-profile Architectural Engineering and Construction (AEC) Program and will report to the Procurement and Commercial Director.


As part of his/her responsibilities:



  • Will provide contractual and legal support to the Program’s Bid Management Team from preparation of tender packages,  commercial evaluation of bids received, contract negotiation and contract formation. 

  • Will monitor and enforce contractors’ compliance with the Contract terms and conditions, review change order requests and contractors' claims, and prepare the contractual correspondence as required.

  • Will ensure that each step complies with the applicable Government Tender Laws and international best commercial practices.  

  • Will maintain a register of contractual commercial topics pertaining to each contract   

  • Will assist EGIS and its Client on any Commercial and Contractual matter that is relevant to the Program. 

Profile


  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Quantity Survey, Contract Management or related discipline.

  • Affiliation to chartered professional bodies specialized in Contract Management or Commercial arbitration is preferred.

  • 15+ year of professional experience in the Construction Industry as a Contract Administrator, Commercial Arbitrator or Claim Practitioner.

  • Bilingual Arabic / English is a must.

  • Must demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be highly familiar with the Saudi Arabian Government Tenders and Procurement Law
