Job description
- Register of Contractors claims and potential claims
- Liaise with Project team to identify potential claims.
- Brief Employers representative fortnightly on contents and status of claims register.
- Conduct forensic analysis of claims and potential claims.
- Review contractors claims and potential claims.
- Liaise with project team to obtain relevant background information and documentation.
- Conduct forensic investigation of the technical construction issues.
- Prepare all necessary letters and transmittals to be issued in respect of potential claims or claims.
- Undertake commercial negotiations with Contractors commercial team.
- Make settlement recommendations to key internal stakeholders.
- Obtain all necessary approvals to authorize settlement.
- Prepare contract change notice and / or settlement agreement.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- At least 7 years' experience relevant experience.
- Experience either with a contractor, engineering consultant or claims consultancy, providing advice on contracts and disputes.
