About the roles
Senior Consultants and Consultants work on a wide range of projects to help clients deliver essential infrastructure, solve complex problems, or improve organisational performance. Typically you’ll be working with a larger Egis team which brings together our strategic, commercial and technical expertise to work closely with our clients. We work across diverse portfolios including transport and mobility, city design, health, defence and roads, so you’ll be exposed to wide range of projects and sectors. The types of work you’ll be undertaking are:
- Project management of complex programs of work with large numbers of stakeholders and contributors
- Gathering, reviewing and interpreting information from reference materials
- Presenting concepts, options and solutions using a mix of written, visual and data based materials
- Detailed analysis of data and sources
- Validating inputs from a range of contributors
- Development of extended reports and papers

We are looking for people who are passionate about teamwork, rigorous analysis, problem solving and evidence based decision making. You’ll need to demonstrate:
- A degree in economics, engineering, process design, business or similar
- For Senior Consultants, proven post graduate experience in engineering, consulting, project management, design management or a relevant field
- For Consultants, at least 3 years post graduate experience in a relevant field
- An awareness of NSW Government structure and priorities
- The ability to communicate and collaborate with broader teams
- An ability to grapple with complex and ambiguous problems
- Comfortable dealing with data
- Skills in stakeholder engagement and management
