Job description

Main goal:

In this position you will focus on achieving and exceeding the allocated sales targets by implementing the groups’ strategy. You will work on growth in your region by working with our customer base and by acquisition of new customers, both in traditional markets and in new markets. To achieve this you are constantly monitoring trends and developing initiatives.


Your responsibilities and activities:

Achieve the sales and profitability budget within a specific geographical area
Drive area account business strategies and new product introductions
Identify sales targets through a sales plan, broken down by area, major customers, market segments, and product lines
Monitor sales performance in relation to forecasts
Produce periodic reporting on sales forecasts with, reference to major customers, market segments, and product lines
Build customer base both by maintaining constant relationships with key customers, distributors network, cross selling and by searching for new business prospects
Define optimal and appropriate sales approach in relation to diversification (direct sales, appointment of agents, channel partners, etc.)
Develop appropriate strategies to maximize profitability in sales and define product positioning versus competitors
Carry out market analysis (competition surveys, environmental, cultural and political changes)
Proactively propose product/marketing improvement to the management

The position is based in Italy and requires regular travel within Italy



What we look for in your profile:

Extensive knowledge of, and network in, regional transport, mobility and logistic industries
Experience in B2B market, developing business
Autonomous, yet team worker
Strong communicator
Entrepreneurial spirit
Good knowledge of, and experience with, MS Office applications
Willingness to travel regularly in Italy.
