Egis is a leading global consulting, construction engineering and operating firm. We work hand-in-hand with our clients, across every aspect of transport, energy and the built environment to build a more balanced, sustainable and resilient world. The Egis Group has more than 50 years of experience and a team of 16,000 employees in over 120 countries around the world. Joining our Group means, above all, sharing our values as a people-first company, strongly committed to sustainability and innovation.
In the UK we're proud to be delivering some of the most iconic projects which help connect people, protect our environment and meet emission reduction targets. From motorways to nuclear power plants, smart cities to air traffic management solutions, clients choose us to help them solve their most complex challenges - delivering climate-responsible growth that meets the needs of communities, industry and the planet.
Complex and challenging, globally networked, highly regulated and safety-critical – yet also subject to market forces and ‘shocks’ – it’s hardly surprising that few firms can claim to truly understand the aviation industry. We do. With over 4,000 successful projects delivered in 100+ countries, our experts have provided trusted consultancy and design and engineering solutions to major airports, ANSPs, industry and governments; improving efficiency and safety of operations, conducting policy and strategy, through almost every significant change in the industry.
We are now looking for a Safety Senior/Principal Consultant to join our highly successful team located within the Aviation Business Line and working across the full breadth of our UK businesses serving a wide range of innovative transport programmes.
We are looking for individuals who can use their expertise to take projects through the entire lifecycle from uncovering the initial opportunity all the way through bid preparation and delivery to ensure our customers’ expectations are met and exceeded.
The consultancy environment can be very fast-paced with opportunities emerging at very short notice that will require a flexible, agile approach to delivering excellence in consultancy services and meeting or exceeding client requirements. If this sounds like a challenge that appeals to you, we would love to speak with you to understand how you can fit into our team.
We have a flat collegiate structure and work in small project teams where our philosophy is to encourage you to manage your own career and time. You’ll have far more autonomy than our competitors offer and, in return, we ask that you deliver high quality work and ensure that our clients continue to come back to us (currently 80% of our work is repeat business!). As part of the business development, extensive client engagement and delivery focused nature of the role, you should expect to travel both within the UK and beyond.
