Job title

Regional Service Line Director M&E

Business Line specific context

Responsible for leading the Service Line’s activities within the Asia Pacific region aligned to the Global Business Line strategic plan delivered through the regional network.  This includes development and implementation of the Service Line’s strategy within a region as well as full P&L responsibility including Order Intake Targets, service line project profitability and DSO. Additional responsibilities includes the development of the financial plans, marketing plans, project methodologies, technical and commercial leadership as well as project and service line staffing requirements and talent management   The position is a key element in connecting the region and it’s clients to the global service line and conversely connected the global service line with the region and it’s specific market dynamics.   The role requires a close connection with the RBLD, the regional tender unit, communication and marketing services, finance and accounting. 

Job description

·Monitoring and expediting of existing Service Line Subsidiaries in the geographical area (such as for recent acquisition) regarding:

·Completion of integration inside Egis Control and Performance System

·Monitoring of organization of Business (contracts and staff)

·People retaining program linked to increase in skill capacity to be organized with other skills center of the Service Line (for example regional engineering Hong Kong, Bangalore etc)

·Screening of potential partners for new markets and eventual coming acquisitions

·Establish and maintain effective region service line organizational structure and skill base to meet the needs of the service line grouping in the short and longer term

·Evaluate and plan for future market conditions and align the strategy to take advantage of any changes or opportunities, industry trends and break through innovations

·Responsible for maximizing financial results of the Service line within the region including profit and loss, fixed assets, capital expenditure and receivables.

·Establish PL forecast revenues and profits in accordance with prescribed guidelines and ensure effective teamwork to meet or exceed targets.

·Responsible for planning, operation and growth of domain group in the respective region

·Work with HR, Tender Unit, and RBLD in order to manage operational planning and staff utilization including future project demand planning, talent acquisition, mobility and retention.

·Significant commercial efforts in order to identify and then nurture and develop leads into active opportunities and pursuit plans within set strategy.

·Support Tender preparations, acts as bid manager or ensures such resources are available where applicable for a successful tender preparation

·Lead the way on people management to drive a motivated disciplined and productive workforce. This includes effective staff leadership, performance management by setting objectives and driving appraisals and communication

Profile

·Experience in strategic planning and execution of projects

·Background in Building and/or M&E engineering

·Highly experienced leader with background in Asia region.

·Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data. Ability to prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

·Knowledge of communications and public relation techniques. Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations

·Interactive client presentations, commercial road shows, speaking at conferences and events to promote Egis’s services
