We are now recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Project Management team in Kuwait.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of internal Value Reports monthly. Preparation of Valuations/Applications monthly with full supporting documentations in an efficient and timely manner.
• Preparation of Cost Report to the Clients monthly, or as when requested, with full supporting documentations.
• Procurement, evaluating, adjudicating, tender reporting and making tender recommendations.
• Monitoring, evaluating, making recommendation and preparation of payments certificates through to agreements/contracts final accounts.
• Preparing and participating in negotiation of final account settlements.
• Production and rigorous management of Early Warning Notices.
• Review, negotiation and make recommendation on Compensation Events/Variations and extension of time claims.
• Attending & participating in meetings focusing on cost reporting and provide advice as required.
• Preparing preliminary & detailed budget estimates, cost plans, cost checks and cash flow projections.
• Tender reconciliations and earned value reports
• Allocations of costs against subcontractors’ bids and materials schedules
• Preparation of forensic planning to determine entitlement to Extension of Time and Loss and Expense, delay analysis
• Prepetition of Change Requests, Site Instruction & Variation Orders
• Liaison with Clients, Consultants and Contractors on contractual & commercial matters

We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:

• Experience as a quantity surveyor from the project initiation to close out phases on large building projects.
• Strong understanding of contract conditions and contract stakeholder’s obligations and responsibilities.
• Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and oral English communication, with excellent capability in technical report writing.

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or Construction, Quantity Surveying
