Within the Egis group, the Business Unit Project structuring, Operation, and Services designs, invests, and operates complex transport infrastructure and intelligent mobility services to create value for communities. The activity of our Business Unit is mainly international.

Within the framework of the development of its rail operation activity, our Business Unit develops rail transport operation and maintenance projects.

More specifically, Egis is looking for a Head of operations to participate in the structuring of the offer and the launch of the operating company for an automatic metro line in the Ile de France region.

At the launch of the operating company, you could move to an operational position within the operating company

The Head of operations’ main mission will be to provide support in the bidding phase for the structuring of activities, and to provide support in the pre-operating phase for the start-up of the operating company's activities in compliance with the contract. As such, he/she is responsible for:

▬    Participate in the development of the rail O&M offer

▬    Provide detailed technical proposals based on regulatory constraints

▬    Review the terms of reference of the main contract and define terms of reference of future subcontractors

▬    Participate in the various stages of the main contract negotiation and direct contract negotiation with subcontractors

▬    Coordinate with all stakeholders

▬    Organize with his management the so-called pre-operational phase and then the start of operations in compliance with contractual obligations

▬    Report and make recommendations to his/her management on the best practices that could be put in place

As a representative of the Egis Group, the Head of operations undertakes to comply with the main Egis principles described in the Codes of Ethics and Professional Conduct and in the Human Resources Management Code. He/she is also committed to comply with the internal and local rules that apply within his/her company as well as with the Occupational Health and Safety processes.

• You have a higher education degree and at least 5 years of professional experience.
• You have significant experience in an operational position in metro infrastructure projects.
• You also have proven experience in dealing with public authorities and administrations.
• Based on your technical knowledge, you know how to achieve the necessary performance gains by optimizing processes, methods and resource allocation (human, financial).
• Through your role, you may be required to participate in the development of the business internationally, by providing your expertise in the context of commercial offers or consulting missions.
• Fluent in French will be essential for the success of this mission. Excellent English, both oral and written, is required
