Job description

  • Prepare tender documents for procurement of Works and Goods in accordance with IFI’s polices;
  • Support in tender evaluation and contracts awarding processes;
  • Maintain procurement documents and contracting records/files, as require


Hard skills

  • At least 1 year of proven experience in preparing tender documents for procurement of works, goods and services and other procurement activities (evaluation of bids and contract award) according to the IFI’s policies (World Bank, EBRD, EIB etc.);
  • Good spoken and written English is compulsory;
  • Solid computer skills (proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Soft skills

  • Strong attention to detail required as work prepared by this position is presented to executive management for use in decision making;
  • Good skills in organising, scheduling, planning and co-ordinating work with a high degree of initiative and judgement, reliability and flexibility to perform a variety of tasks and set priorities;
  • Results Orientation — self-motivated individual able to set goals and priorities with a good sense of time management and the ability to re-organise workload when faced with changing priorities;
  • Autonomy- experience of working independently and scheduling own work.


  • Experience in construction industry, including ability to read design documents and bill of quantities (smeta);
  • Experience in contract administration.
