Job description

Support the Planning Manager in developing / updating, improving and implementing plans, procedures, standards and systems for all the planning, scheduling and reporting related tasks

•Coordinate with Supervision Consultant to ensure that the project work breakdown structure is maintained in all the projects

•Coordinate with Project team and Supervision Consultant to establish Project’s baseline schedule and Progress measurement system consistently throughout the Projects in Programme

•Coordinate with Project team and Supervision Consultant to ensure that the management reports are properly prepared and accurately reflect the actual and forecast position of projects

•Develop, update and maintain integrated Program master schedule

•Analysing and reporting on Consultant’s and Consultant’s schedules and
monthly and weekly reports

•Ensure that approved Baseline Schedule is followed by all the entities involved and the Projects complete with in the budgeted time and cost

•Effectively monitor and analyse the progress, identify trends and recommend corrective actions

•Identification of potential grey areas and warning signal to Projects team

•Prepare reports to the senior management with in Ashghal pertaining to schedules
. To monitor and measure the performance of the Supervision Consultant’s
planning team in properly ensuring the planning aspects of projects

 

Profile

• Minimum of 8 years post graduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes; preference will be given to roads, aviation, structures or rail related experience

• Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projects

• Experienced user of Primavera P6, and MS Office

• Sound knowledge of planning and scheduling of roads and infrastructure projects

• Sound knowledge of different contract forms, e.g. FIDIC

• Experience in working on latest planning tools and techniques

• Experience in risk management tools and techniques, e.g. Predict

• Experience of working with consultant or client organisations

• Sound Knowledge of Extension of Time Claim analysis

• Experience of working in GCC Countries especially in Qatar

•Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures, both internally and with various project stakeholders
