The MENS’ BU (Project structuring, Operation and New Services) is one of the world leaders in the financial project structuring of PPP projects, as well as in the operation of infrastructures and services. In the road sector, Egis operates and maintains 44 roads and highways, including civil structures such as bridges, viaducts and tunnels. Through 28 operating companies, Egis employs more than 9,300 people in more than 20 countries, i.e. nearly 4,400 km.

In the airport sector, our BU operates, maintains and develops a network of 17 airports around the world, handling more than 30 million passengers and 330,000 tons of freight per year.

The MENS’ BU also offers a wide range of services for its customers such as electronic toll collection, interoperability and on-street parking management.

This role will be working for Connect Plus Services, a Joint Venture created to manage the Operations and Maintenance of the M25, one of our flagship projects and one of the business motorways in Europe!

Job description

The Performance Manager shall work within the Technology Services Maintenance Team on the M25 motorway network,  responsible for the Technology Maintenance on the Network.

In this position the Performance Manager shall be responsible for ensuring the Technology Services Contract achieves the maximum in roadside technology maintenance efficiency on a monthly basis.

They shall also provide an understanding using National Highways data as to where known issues are and to identify performance improvements.

This position can be based out of our Dartford, Leatherhead or South Mimms offices.



  • Provide pivotal and relevant data for all roadside performance matters to be presented at Internal and External meetings; Performance against Contractual Standards – Cyclic sand Performance against Contractual Timescales – Reactive
  • Ensure assets are maintained in accordance with Standards through efficient and effective working.
  • Provide consistent and concise commentary for both Cyclic and Reactive Maintenance performance explaining the shortfalls plans to mitigate and / or recover.
  • Review fault data and patterns to assist the Contract and Team Manager in planning resources on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Provide high frequency and repeat defect reports to the Team Manager and Electrical Lead to identify trends and mitigations.
  • Ensure there is a consistent approach to the management of the defect reporting
  • Become a Service Now ‘super user’ in coordination with the NH / WSP team.
  • Monitor to ensure that key field data on Service Now is captured and entered correctly.
  • Provide assistance to NH in making improvements to the Service Now system including its continuing development and offer our contract as a potential trial area.
  • Be the “Champion” of Performance Recording and Reporting within the Team
  • Manage, direct and support the Service Co-Ordinator and Technical Administrator(s) in completion of their duties


Skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, providing pivotal and relevant data for all roadside performance matters
  • Good experience in the use of Service Now, or similar Database Defect / Field Management systems,
  • Knowledge of Area5 boundaries.
  • Able to manage a number of staff including those on a shift rota.
  • IT literate, conversant with database applications, word and excel.
  • A technical bias would be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of HA TPMS
  • A  good communicator both verbal and written and confident when liaising with the team, third parties and stakeholders.
  • Assist with other support roles in the event of staff holiday and sickness.
  • Good team player.
  • Able to manage own time and work on own initiative.
