We are looking for an overhead catenary system engineer to join our local team in Toronto to work for urban public transport and heavy rail projects. Under the responsibility of a project director, you will work in collaboration with a team of engineers, experts and project managers, internal and external to the company.

As an OCS engineer, part of the engineering team, depending on Egis positioning on the projects, you will:
· Manage and produce some design: feasibility concept, preliminary and detailed design (including OCS layout plans, cross-sections, sectioning diagrams, bills of quantity, bonding plans) within multi-disciplinary rail projects.
· Manage, review and control documents provided by the Client and produced by him or by other consultants
· Advise the public transport client on design and construction decisions, providing your practical expertise in the OCS field
To be considered for this position as OCS Engineer we have the following requirements:
·An appropriate university engineering degree, or equivalent qualification such as a degree in mechanical engineering
· At least 7 years of railway experience
· Knowledge of Software used for OCS design such as Microstation and AutoCAD
· Main line / heavy rail experience an advantage, although metro and LRT experience can be considered.
· Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
