Egis Saudi Arabia is looking for a Legal Affairs Manager to provide legal direction in the following fields

  • Government Tenders and Procurement Law
  • Construction Contract and dispute resolution. Prior experience on international contractual standards such as FIDIC, NEC, etc
  • Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia laws and regulations
  • Civil and Companies Law
  •  Labor Law
  • Corporate Governance
  • Arbitration
  •  Consultations & Opinions
  • Merger & Acquisition Transactions
  • Prior experience in international companies (project/engineering preferably)
  • Regional experience is a plus

Job description

  • Submitting and following up on various applications to the governmental authorities such as MISA and the chamber of commerce;
  • Represent Egis and its subsidiaries in litigation and arbitration disputes such as commercial, labour, and criminal disputes. Utilizing the support of external counsel as appropriate; 
  • Select and oversee external counsel in liaison with Middle East Legal Department;
  • Provide legal risk analyses for complex engineering projects such as road, rail, metro, airports, water, urban, construction etc ;
  •  Prepare the legal documentation related to the day to day management of the various operating entities;
  • Legal support to all Egis operations in Middle East region including contracts analyses in the tender stage and provide legal support during contract execution (in liaison with the local contract managers where required);
  • Represent the legal department in meetings with subcontractors and represent the corporate legal team with internal stakeholders;
  •  Provide legal advice and contribute to analyses relating to corporate governance issues;
  •  Implementation and follow-up of the Group Legal Procedures in the Territory;
  •  Be the Middle East Legal Department’s SPOC for all liability insurance matters in the Territory;
  • Monitor and report to operations and Group Legal Department on the evolution of local regulation in the Territory;
  • Perform all other position-related duties as requested. 
  •  Oversee the legal housekeeping of the Egis entities in the Territory, including requests and maintenance of the required operational licenses, in close coordination with the Middle East Legal Department and local authorities;
  • Keep the Middle East Legal team updated through regular meetings and calls.
  •  Act as the representative of the Group Legal Department in the KSA;


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar industry, either in a consultancy or contracting firm.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity;
  • Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies;
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures;
  • Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information;
  • Outstanding communication skills;
  •  Entrepreneurial spirit, result driven;
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Must be a Saudi national.
