About Easytrip Transport Services
Easytrip Transport Services, part of Egis, offers a very broad portfolio of services to transport and logistics companies, including more than 30 toll road networks (80,000 km), ferry/tunnel/train booking services (500 lines) and VAT & Excise recovery in 28 countries. Easytrip is present in 25 countries in Europe, Middle East & Africa to serve 16,000 customers.

He/she ensures the technical studies, developments and unit tests for IT Project Manager(s). He/she works for projects and has relation with business stakeholders and IT Project Managers. Direct reporting to the IT Manager.
Development:
- Designs, Tests, and Implements a software application, or a piece of software with the good quality and based on a structured methodology
- Bases his/ her design and implementation on functional or technical specifications
- ensures all projects are delivered on time and following company specifications
- applies the “State of the Art” standard development rules
- contributes to define, develop where requested and manages the unit tests, based on the testing plan provided by the Project Managers
- corrects the bugs
- delivers technical specification or software application design
- creates and maintains software documentation
- provides a realistic workload estimation, and communicates in case of exceeding
Contribution to the Project Management
- participates to workshops with the Project Manager(s) and involved stakeholders included in the business team
- analyzes and defines a local solution for each requirement linked to the software application, or piece of software, under his/her responsibility
- contributes to define the planning of the impact (software development functionality) under the responsibility of the Project Manager(s).
- provides a weekly reporting with the different achievement overviews and potential risks/difficulties.
Technical expertise
- explains and develops ideas or proposes solutions
- develops an expertise on the solution his/her scope of applications
- writes, in autonomy, functional or technical specifications and requirements based on clear Business requirements, on his/her own domain
- knows how to address clearly an open point to the Project Managers
He/she develops, proposes and implements improvements in technical processes, while ensuring the process is aligned & compliant with the group strategy/governance.
The position’s holder is responsible towards compliance with the three Codes of Ethics, Integrity and Human Resources Management Code, internal rules, all local regulations and Health & Safety rules that apply in for the BU MENS activities.
