Job Scope:

• Responsible for the preparation of Hydrologic Analyses, which iinclude Rainfall Analysis, Runoff Analysis, Flow Capacity Analysis and Inundation Analysis
• Ovrall responsibility for the hydraulic analysis of flood control and river improvement works
• Untake overall responsibility for the hydraulic analysis of flood control and river improvement works
• Conduct inspection, investigation and/ or assessment of the study area to determine the revailing conditions of the river with emphasis on the hydrologic and hydraulic aspects of the sub-projects
• Lead he conduct of the flood survery to locate the existing flood control systems, identify the flood-prone areas within the study area
• Assist in the conduct of a Hydrographic Survery
• Assist the team in identifying the alternative flood migitation measures
• Plan and lead the collection of relevant information on historic flood occurrence, flood magnitude, hydrology, climatic and meterorological conditions, etc. 
• Provide hyrdological / hydraulic inputs including an estimate of runoff discharge to the sub-Project areas and their tributaries for the planning and design of flood control structures, bridges, drainge systems and other related structures. 
• Responsible for the conduct of water balance and flooding modeling in each project area
• Assist in the colection of supplemental information on the existing condition of flood-prone areas, as well as identification of alternative improvement plans and overall implementation of the project
• Consolidate and prepare the final hydrologist/hyrdaulic report of the projects
• Assist in the conduct of an alternative study for flood mitigation measures

Requirements:

• Professional Civil Enginner / Water Resources Engineer / Agricultural Engineer or  related field with at least 5 years of experience in hrdrologicial and hydraulic analysis, modeling and design
• He/she must be proficient in writing technical report in English
• Good spoken and written English
• Knowledge of the local language is prefered
