Job description
The Hardware Technician’s role is to support and maintain Fixed Operating Equipment and IT assets. This includes installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring its optimal performance.
The Hardware Technician’s will also troubleshoot problem areas promptly and accurately, and provide end-user training and assistance where required.
Knowledge & Experience
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
- Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Self-motivated and directed.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong customer-service orientation.
Minimum Qualification:
- Associate degree in a computer-related field, or associate study with 1 year experience, or 2 years of experience.
- Proven attention to detail.
- MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) – basic level.
- Adherence to work schedule.
