Egis Road and Tunnel Operation Ireland (ERTO) is an Irish company established in 2005 and is part of Egis Projects Ireland. ERTO's responsibility is to manage all processes associated with the Operation and Maintenance of the Dublin Tunnel (DT), Jack Lynch Tunnel (JLT) and the Motorway Operation Control Centre (MTCC) for Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII).  We are located in the Dublin Tunnel Control Building on East Wall Road, Dublin 3.

 

This is a role to support the Maintenance Department in the management of the DT, JLT and MTCC infrastructure. This is an important new role which will focus on the development of our maintenance delivery.  The role will requires a background and knowledge of engineering principles and maintenance management.  This is a critical position and will play a pivotal role in delivering our maintenance management service and will involve interaction with all asset owner functions within ERTO.

Job description

  • Deliver our maintenance management of the Dublin Tunnel Civil assets.
  • Administer our Maintenance Management System (Maximo) for civil assets.
  • Manage records and documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • Supervise on site works during planned maintenance tunnel closures (3 nights per month).
  • Prepare and critically review condition and technical reports submitted by third party contractors.

Profile

  • Candidate should hold a Level 6 Higher Certificate (on the National Framework of Qualifications) in Civil Engineering and/or possess a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
  • Experience of working with 3rd third party contractors.
  • Full clean drivers’ licence.
  • Sound understanding of Health and Safety Legislation.
