Job description

Right now we are looking for recruits with a range of expertise and experience and a keen interest in aviation to help us meet our growing order book. You might be studying economics or a  related numerate subject. You will be really keen to learn more about the aviation related political and regulatory context.

The work you do will be varied: at times you will be working on highly analytical projects requiring data analysis capabilities and at other times you’ll be working in regulatory environments where you’ll develop your political awareness, reasoning and report writing skills.

Our organisation can be very fast-paced. If you are attracted to large, process-driven organisations then we’re probably not for you (unless of course you are ready to escape from one!) However, if being creative, flexible, dynamic and proactive is more your style, then we want to hear from you!

We have a flat collegiate structure and work in small project teams where our philosophy is to encourage you to manage your own career and time. You’ll have far more autonomy than our competitors offer and in return we ask that you deliver amazing work and ensure that our clients keep coming back to us (currently 80% of our work is repeat business!)

In return we offer competitive salaries and a range of benefits including discretionary bonus, pension, private healthcare, life insurance, in house training, a great work/life balance and opportunities to travel.

Benefits/Salary Details:

  • Competitive salary
  • Pension contribution of 5% of your salary
  • Life insurance
  • Private healthcare for you and your family
  • Health cash plan
  • 26 days holiday plus
  • UK bank holidays
  • Tailored career path with structured training
  • Mentoring from senior staff
  • Buddy system to ease your transition from university
  • Hybrid working between office and home working

Candidates must be expecting a 2:1 or above in a numerate subject, preferably an economics related subject.

Most importantly you must thrive on problem solving and the application of your excellent critical thinking skills. Your written and verbal presentation skills must be of a high standard and you must enjoy the prospect of client engagement whether in workshops, training sessions, one-to-one meetings or simply networking over coffee.

We crunch a lot of data, write a lot of reports, share our learning and knowledge with each other in small project teams, and get to know our clients well.

Application Instructions:

Please apply for this role on our careers portal using the link above. As part of your application, please include a cover letter setting out your interest in working within the aviation industry as a management consultant and why you are suitable for the role.
