We’re at an exciting time in our growth and we are looking for a receptionist/office co-ordinator to join our offices in London Waterloo.
You must be currently working ‘front of house’ customer-facing role either in an office or service sector role.
Job description
What you’ll be doing…
You will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of our premises and keeping our offices looking great for our visitors and staff.
It is a busy office with a high turnover of staff and visitors with lots of meetings and events to organise.
The key responsibilities include:
Front of House:
- Answering the front door and initially greeting all visitors.
- Ensuring the office is clean and tidy at all times. For example, making a morning pot of coffee and tidying the kitchens, if necessary.
- Manage everything to make sure the office can function effectively from stationary to sanitary
Coordinating Meetings:
- Ensuring all meeting rooms are fully equipped and ready for the next meeting, including making teas and coffees ahead of the meeting start time.
- Organising internal meetings or meetings at external venues, if needed.
- Helping to organise ad hoc events – such as the Christmas party and other staff social events.
New staff and leavers:
- New starter processing (such as providing premises inductions).
- Leaver processing (forwarding emails, collecting company property and organising leaving cards and colleague collections).
- Supporting IT with asset management of new starter and leaver equipment
Profile
You must be a self-starter, energetic and highly organised and enjoy being needed!
You’ll handle lots of requests to book travel for our staff and you’ll be a key person in keeping the office stocked up with supplies and keeping it running like clockwork.
You should be computer literate, particularly with Microsoft Office, have experience in providing administrative support to internal clients and can demonstrate that you are both good at it – and love it!

What's in it for you:
"Hours – 37.5 per week (we will consider part-time but need a minimum of 30 hours per week) - 8- 4.30 pm or 8.30-5 As this is a front-of-house role, your working pattern will be fully office-based.
