Due to company expansion we have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Reporting Manager to support our UK CFO. This is a new role and very much ‘hands on’ working in our London head office near Waterloo station or in Manchester. We operate a hybrid working model, so you would expect to be in the office on average half of your time supporting our CFO as the company grows.
As the Finance Reporting Manager you will support our UK CFO to undertake three primary areas of responsibility:
Running the finances of Egis UK Holdings Ltd with a headcount of around 40, made up of mainly corporate and shared services staff, with significant intercompany transactions.
Consolidating subsidiary and related UK entity financial management information – 12 entities, £100M turnover.
In the first year, support the role-out of a new group-wide Oracle ERP – currently entities are on multiple systems, with significant manual consolidation activities.
Egis in the UK is currently undergoing a period of intensive transformation as we embed a new Operating Model, and transition to a new ERP. As such this role offers the right individual a key opportunity to lead the review and subsequent improvement of finance business processes across all UK subsidiaries.
Your duties for will include those set out below but there are plenty of opportunities for growth and career development in the group.
- Managing the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with group guidelines as well as accounting standards and regulations.
- Stewardship and interpretation of monthly results, and the presentation of the same to the UK CFO and Group Finance.
- Generation of monthly intercompany invoicing and ownership of any resulting queries.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Budgeting and forecasting support.
- To manage the forecasting and reporting on balance sheet and cash flow.
- Supporting monthly consolidation activities for the UK, including UK P&L from entity inputs
- Embedding of robust business processes to ensure that all financial reporting is of a high quality and meets the requirements of key stakeholders
- Acting as the key contact for the region for the Tagetik consolidation and reporting tool
- Ensuring business readiness for the upcoming ERP transition in January 2025
Skills and Experience
Essential:
Bachelor’s or above qualifications in a relevant area such as Finance/Accounting
ACCA Qualified or relevant preferable
Demonstrated experience in similar position
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and reporting standards
Great communication skills both written and verbal
Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Excellent organization, administration and interpersonal skills
Proactive outlook: hands-on can do mentality, flexible
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite
Experience with Oracle ERP and Tagetik desirable.
