Job description

  • Assistance in preparation of supporting documentation for disbursement applications in line with PPM and Ministry of Finances of Ukraine requirements etc.;
  • Assistance in implementation of project activities financed from the loan and grants proceeds;
  • Checking and approval of all documents relating to the use of loan proceeds and submitted for processing of payment;
  • Checking and approval of documents required for disbursement or replenishment of loan account;
  • Preparation of project reports and analysis of financial activities conducted pursuant to approved Project budget;
  • Preparation and timely submission of required financial reports relating to implementation of the project for review by relevant stakeholders;
  • Preparation of financial information to be incorporated in Project progress reports or upon request of PMSU Project Manager;
  • Assistance for organization and performance of accounting of financial transactions under project (loans and grants), including preparation of corresponding reports;
  • Performance of accounting requirements pursuant to national legislation in force, including special statutory regulations of financial institutions' activity;
  • Preparation of all financial reports under the project required by the national legislation in force and submission of such reports to corresponding institutions;
  • Preparation of documents, forms and reports required by the Budget Code of Ukraine;
  • Preparing all the required documents for disbursements on special accounts;
  • Reflection of all projects related transactions in terms of accounting, including further preparation of corresponding reports;
  • Collection and consolidation of information concerning repayment schedule of the loans;
  • Creation and updating of financial management files/records and payments under project.


  • B.A. graduate with financial management and/or accounting background.
  • At least 3 years of experience at a position of financial/accounting specialist with IFI-funded projects or similar.
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge of national and international (GAAP) accounting and financial reporting standards.
  • Knowledge of procurement guidelines of the IFIs and local regulations.
  • Fluency in Ukrainian or Russian languages.
  • Working level of English language.
