The Egis Architecture Line (A division of Egis Group) is composed of a collection of 5 world renowned international architecture and master planning practices with offices in Hong Kong, Edinburgh, Dubai, Miami, London, Shenzhen, Singapore and San Francisco.

The collection of firms making up the division work at diverse scales, across numerous markets and typologies and in multiple regions across the globe. Services range from the design of individual buildings to the planning of cities. The practice focuses on bringing innovative and sustainable design solutions for a wide variety of project types, from large-scale mixed use developments to Transport infrastructure, including stations and airports as well as, retail, office, residential, hospitality, education, cultural, and civic projects.
Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to support the Architecture Line management team in overseeing the Financial, Commercial and Operational functions of the each of the companies within the Architecture Service Line. The role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer, but will also involve providing support to the Managing Director of the Architecture Line.
One of key activities required as part of Architecture Line Management team involves coordinating, consolidating and analysing financial and commercial data pertaining to the performance of each of the Architectural Firms in the group.
This is needed to both enable the optimisation of the commercial performance of the Architecture division as a whole, but also in order to effectively communicate status, progress and performance to the Egis Group.
Duties / Activities
The role of the Financial & Commercial Analyst, will involve:
Supporting the Chief Operating Officer in collating and consolidating the various pieces of reporting data from the heads of Finance, Commercial and Operations from each of the Architectural entities.
Carrying out weekly and monthly analysis of the data in order to enable business decisions and inform swift responses to changes in business strategy
The duties will include but not limited to:
- Assisting in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Analysing and interpreting financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, trends, and variances.
- Support the development of financial presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct industry and market research to contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Monitor and evaluate financial processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong analytical and quantiBtative skills.
- Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic project based environment
- Relevant experience in a design or Architectural environment a benefit ut not essential.
