About the position:
We have an exciting newly created finance role for a Tax and Compliance Specialist looking for their next career move.
The new finance role specialising in tax and compliance matters will report directly to the UK CFO and participate as a senior member of the UK finance team. You will operate as a business partner alongside the UK operating unit heads, accountable for all tax and compliance matters relating to the activities of the Group within UK. Job description

As the scope expands the expectation would be that this role would then manage all tax and compliance requirements across the UK entities. The finance function is undergoing a period of transformation, including the implementation of a new reporting and consolidation system, so the right person would need to be a self-starter and willing to be agile and adaptable as the business needs change.
The role will involve excellent exposure to the wider Egis Group and finance teams, and requires the personal credibility to develop successful professional relationships with internal peers and external stakeholders
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Technically focussed finance specialist with ACCA Qualification
- A specialist in VAT and corporate tax preparation
- Internal audit and controls experience
- High impact organisational skills
- Stakeholder engagement skills working across a complex matrix organisation
- Knowledge of corporation tax i.e., cash flow forecasting and calculating quarterly on account tax instalments
- Experience of business transformation
- High level MS Excel skills - including pivots, chart production, index match and look up functions
The role will be based at our offices in London (Waterloo) one day per week, with the rest of the week largely working at home with occasional trips to other UK offices.
This position is on an interim 3 month basis, however we are happy to explore temp to perm candidates.
