The Business line Rail of the Egis Group, brings together all of the necessary expertise for guided urban transport and rail: systems, automation, rolling stock, safety, equipment, civil engineering, environment, etc. Egis Rail has led numerous successful projects on all continents, from preliminary design of public transport systems through to commissioning, and covering all aspects of testing and handover to clients.

Based in Tel Aviv, you will be part of our Tel Aviv Metro Network Manager project and our other future transportation projects in Israel. You will lead the engineering department of METAV including several teams in civil, structural, architecture, environmental, HSE and QA.

Under responsibility of the Project Director, your activities will include but not be limited to:

· To lead the Consultant’s Design Team and coordinate all activities of the Design Team’s members

· To promote and facilitate the Integration activities between the various disciplines

· To provide sound, justified and impartial information and guidance to the Client on all technical aspects of the Programme

· Responsible for the production of the Pre-Development Phase Deliverables covering Technical and Design, and other related subjects


To be considered for this position as Engineering manager we have the following requirements:

· A degree in traffic and transportation planning, civil engineering, architecture, or urban planning.

· At least twenty (20) years of experience in the design of mass transit projects (including passenger rail projects and Metro Line projects).

· Experience in at least two (2) Metro Line projects in development phase.

· Fluent in written/spoken English
