Egis Egypt is looking to hire a Contract, Procurement and Claims Manager to support on rail related projects. 

The Contract Manager will be responsible for providing oversight on the projects by monitoring and controlling the contracts performance to ensure the services are delivered effectively and on time. The individual shall be experienced in procurement under different forms of contract and be able to implement effective contract administration procedures and develop claims avoidance and mitigation strategies.


Job description

  • Theoretical and practical knowledge and experience of IFI (especially EBRD, WB and/or ADB) procurement rules;
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge and experience of FIDIC conditions of contract (in particular yellow book).
  • Assist in the preperation of contract change and variation orders;
  • collaborate with all internal services/stakeholders (engineering, finance, planning, project controls and quality management)


  • Solid working knowledge of the forms of contract conditions used by government/federal entities in MENA - (these are primarily based upon the FIDIC suite, Red, Yellow and Silver).
  • CDM regulations, risk management and cost control including forecasting & actual cost;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in english;
  • Problem solving skills and analytical thinking;
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in contracting, procurement and claims assessment for metro rehabilitation and construction projects;
  • Minimum 5 years as contracting, procurement or claims manager for similar projects;
