As a Bilingual Content Development Specialist, your role is crucial in amplifying our brand’s voice and positioning within the industry. You will be instrumental in crafting engaging and insightful content that highlights our expertise and successes, driving our mission to attract and resonate with our target audience. Your responsibilities will include enhancing our online presence through strategic content updates and additions to the website. You'll also be responsible for writing for social media and website updates related to our conference participations.

 

Egis offers a hybrid work environment, this position can be based on Ottawa, Toronto or Montreal. 

Job description

  • Develop and produce compelling digital content to support marketing and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts and marketing communications colleagues in North America and globally to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of campaign content, including paid social and Google campaigns.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and performance.
  • Demonstrate strong storytelling abilities to effectively convey our brand narrative and key messages.
  • Conduct thorough research, including interviewing and sourcing materials, and ensure proper citation and organization of reference materials.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities within a deadline-driven environment.
  • Work autonomously while also contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
  • Proofread and edit technical and marketing content to ensure high-quality and accuracy.

Profile

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in communications with proficiency in managing projects.
  • Proven experience in developing campaign content and executing marketing strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with paid social media and Google campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO practices and techniques.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with a passion for sharing and conveying our story.
  • Excellent research abilities, including interviewing, sourcing materials, and organizing background files.
  • Preferred background in professional services, with specific knowledge of the A/E/C industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a motivated and proactive team member.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent language and writing skills with the capability to proofread and edit various types of content.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
