You will be responsible for the engineering/consultant design of airport equipment projects from the concept to detailed design stages, as well as the construction supervision stage up to testing and commissioning. You will be responsible for the production of bids and tender documents.

You will join various design teams to deliver projects to clients' requirements.

The role will involve working on challenging engineering design projects.
The ability to interact with a wide range of people is necessary, both internally and externally, including clients, local authorities/stakeholder bodies (civil aviation, airports, …), contractors, consultants, and third parties.

Your role will also be to maintain and develop our expertise in both landside and airside airport equipment and systems; for example BHS, CUPPS/CUSS, biometric systems, FIDS, AODB, RMS, PBB, Navaids, radars, AGL, ... and to develop and animate a skills community.

Profil

  • You have more than 7 years’ experience in a relevant field

  • Your experience must cover a range of aeronautical equipment and a good knowledge of design standards and legislation where applicable
  • Ideally, your experience covers a maximum of both landside and airside airport equipment and systems

  • You are curious and innovation-driven

  • You have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (architecture, buildings, airside infrastructure civil works, …). You are able to convince partners and clients on the design elements you are proposing
  • You have a good understanding of ICAO/EASA, FAA, IATA Regulations
