 Position description

A. Dy Project Leader

· Assist Project Director / Project Leader/Project Coordinator for all the consulting services.

· Support administrative and supervisory activities and documentation for all works during construction.

· Support preparation of bid documents suitable for procurement with prequalification in accordance with the procurement guidelines of funding agencies.

·Attend the periodical site inspection during the defects liability period and order the contractors’ actions to be taken and payment methods.

·Co-ordinated Planning of systemwide works and integration with project planning.


B. Chief System Integration & Interface Expert

· Define all the potential interfaces among various components of the project. Develop and incorporate necessary provisions for interfacing in respective tender documents. Reviewing Tender Documents of the works for interface issues.

· Outline the process for coordination and management of parties involved across various disciplines for various interface activities.

·Establish monitoring process for the interfacing of the registered request.

· Facilitate assimilation of requirements of all phases among various consultants/contractors/suppliers other stakeholders and prepare, manage and control, the overall system integration processes.

· Manage System Integration tests and coordination for trial runs before operations and demonstrate the system readiness for commercial operations.


To be considered for this position we have the following requirements:

· Graduate in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering with working Knowledge of reading, writing and Speaking in English.

· Minimum 20 Years post minimum qualification experience in any Rail based Passenger Transit system.

· Relevant Experience - 5 years’ experience of for Interface Management of Rolling Stock, Traction & Power Supply, Signalling etc., System integration, and Testing & commissioning for Rail Based Passenger Transit System as Dy. Team leader or equivalent position.

·International Experience- Minimum 3 years’ experience on projects for Rail based Passenger Transit system with operational speed of 160 kmph or more.
