Business Unit specific context

The MENS’ BU (Project structuring, Operation and New Services) is one of the world leaders in the financial project structuring of PPP projects, as well as in the operation of infrastructures and services. In the road sector, Egis operates and maintains 44 roads and highways, including civil structures such as bridges, viaducts and tunnels. Through 28 operating companies, Egis employs more than 9,300 people in more than 20 countries, i.e. nearly 4,400 km.

In the airport sector, our BU operates, maintains and develops a network of 17 airports around the world, handling more than 30 million passengers and 330,000 tons of freight per year.

The MENS’ BU also offers a wide range of services for its customers such as electronic toll collection, interoperability and on-street parking management.

Egis Projects is looking for their Business Development Executive to support the UK MENS Director in his business development missions across the UK.

 

Job description

Purpose of the role:

▬    As the Business Development Executive, you will assist the UK MENS Director in the  business development activities of Egis MENS BU.

▬    You are responsible to comply with the three Codes of Ethics, Integrity and Human Resources Management Code, internal rules, all local regulations and Health & Safety rules that apply in for the BU MENS activities.

 

Main missions:

▬    Research businesses, organisations and individuals generating new leads and potential new partners/clients and methods of serving existing clients better, in line with the outcomes of the recently completed UK marketing study

▬    Contact existing and potential new clients using phone and email to gauge interest and plan meetings

▬    Prepare client presentations and materials, including PowerPoint and sales displays

▬    Prepare and attend deliveries of pitches to potential investors

▬    Active participation in meetings with existing and potential new clients and draft the related minutes

▬    Record activity and client information using Egis CRM database

▬    Contribute to the preparation of the pre-qualification and tender submissions for selected projects

▬    Work to weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI’s

▬    Work closely with other Egis UK Business Development Community teams to develop new partnership relationships

▬    Attend networking opportunities including conferences and industry events and prepare associated reporting/minutes

Profile

Skills and abilities:

▬    A driven and entrepreneurial personality

▬    Proven ability to proactively source new clients

▬    Ability to build key relationships

▬    Ability to communicate with impact both in writing and verbally

Educational Background & Experience:

▬    A Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business, Marketing (other degrees coupled with appropriate work experience may be considered)

▬    Experience in B2B sales required
