We work in the transport and energy sectors, providing consultancy, engineering and operations services for clients such as major airports, governments, regulators, cities and rail and road operators.

 

Newly acquired by Egis, Thomas & Adamson, a UK-based consultancy firm that offers project management, cost management, building surveying, and construction safety services for built assets are looking to expand the their team. 

 

They are now looking for an Associate/ Senior Building Surveyor to join working out of the London office a minimum of 3 days a week 

 

Job description

Core Requirement:

  • At all times represent Thomas & Adamson in a professionally competent and positive manner, ensuring service quality and integrity is maintained to the highest possible standards.
  • Work with all team members to understand client requirements/deadlines and how best to deploy resource efficiently to achieve these requirements/deadlines. Efficiently manage the delivery of projects ensuring delivery within the project fee and working to gain fee recovery if appropriate.
  • Nurture existing client relationships and provide support to senior team member with identifying where there is scope creep or variations that have a commercial impact.
  • Constantly assist with identifying market, client and project opportunities and support the senior team member when required with developing these opportunities.
  • Grow new business from personal efforts.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to cross-sell additional services to existing clients.
  • Prepare fee quotes.
  • Lead and support with framework bids.
  • Assist with fee management.
  • Has distinguished himself/herself as an expert in at least one service or industry.
  • Follows and complies with all Partnership policies, procedures and deadlines.
  • Ensures staff operating under him / her complies with all Partnership policies and procedures.
