Job description

The Bid Manager will work independently to drive and manage the bidding process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of proposals in the Middle Eastern and European markets. These include liaisons with sub-consultants and project team leaders to compile multi-disciplinary proposals. Supporting other regions is required as well when needed.

 

The Bid Manager  will be the primary contact point for internal and external parties regarding bids from the Middle East and Europe region.  

 

The role will also support the bid team by providing up-to-date bid materials, administrative support, and managing the bid portal and opportunity databases to ensure the department runs smoothly.

 

Key Objectives

  • Manage and drive the progress to completion of the bid submission. Lead the preparation of bid documents, including gathering project requirements, organizing bid materials, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare tender submissions, including pre-qualifications, expressions of interest and requests for proposals
  • Making sure bid deadlines, requirements and prerequisites are met
  • Maintain the integrity of bid submission files and directories on the server
  • Update bid materials
  • Work with the Business Development Principal and Project Team to obtain the information required to compile the bid
  • Ensure all bids produced follow the company brand, policy, standard templates, and standard texts.
  • Communication: Coordinate communication with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to clarify project requirements, address inquiries, and facilitate the exchange of information as needed. 

 

Profile

Skills and Experience: 
 

  • Degree educated or relevant years of industry experience
  • Experience in the architectural or real estate-related industry is highly desirable
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Fluent written and spoken Simplified Chinese is highly desirable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office packages and Adobe Creative Suite software, in particular, InDesign.
  • Extensive working experience in a similar pposition.
  • Knowledge of bidding processes, procurement regulations, and contract management principles
  • Previous experience managing projects and initiatives
  • Good business sense with diligent numeracy skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
