Job description

Overview

Egis is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Attraction Specialist to join our PMC team for a major entertainment construction project. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and overseeing the construction of various attractions and rides for the theme park, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and guest experience.

Responsibilities 

  • Ensure designs align with project goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to oversee the construction of attractions, cost estimates, and installation plans.
  • supervise and oversee the integration of attractions to ensure operational expectations and service standards are met.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on construction work.
  • Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet specified requirements.
    Address any defects or issues promptly to maintain quality standards.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including project managers, designers, and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Communicate project updates and progress to senior management, stakeholders and client.
  • Foster positive relationships with all project participants.
  • Evaluate and recommend new attraction concepts and enhancements.
  • Ensure that all attractions are designed and constructed with a focus on guest experience and safety.
  • Delegates and schedules various work to be done by vendors to satisfy specific project requirements.
  • Ensures appropriate documentation of project goals, financial/business related needs and project milestone timelines.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established client and Egis procedures.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
    Minimum of 8 years of experience in theme park attraction design and construction.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in large-scale construction projects.
  • Excellent communication in English.
  • Proficiency in design software and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for theme park attractions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
